Moose is a free and open-source platform for software and data analysis. It uses large data models that can be exported and imported from files.We have developed a package that brings an alternative to the default export and import format (which is named MSE). The result was succesful, so it has been included from 4.4 version up now.

Try it

  1. Download Moose Suite.
  2. Import a model, using 'ST import' button at Moose Panel.
  3. At the model's context menu, select "Export model to FL'.
  4. Close and reopen Moose Suite.
  5. Click on 'Import model from FL' button at Moose Panel.
  6. Select the file previously created. A model will be imported.

Benchmarks

The first chart compares the times (in milliseconds) to export and import models. The X-axis represents the size of the model.The ST import data series shows the time to import the model from the image. While other series are more stable, ST import was fluctuating. We took the better one for the chart.The second chart compares the file size (in bytes) of the exported model.
